My approach to design is thoughtful, approachable, and layered. I love mixing elevated pieces with vintage finds, local treasures, resale items, and affordable decor to create spaces that feel curated without feeling unattainable. As a photographer, I naturally pay attention to lighting, texture, mood, and the small details that make a room feel warm and memorable both in person and through the lens. I personally handle every part of the process from sourcing to styling because I genuinely love transforming spaces into homes that feel comforting, inspiring, and lived in. Humans spend years trying to find “their style” when half the time they’re really just searching for a place that finally feels like them.

I’m Dannielle, the designer and photographer behind The Moment I’m Home. I’m a mama to three boys, a creative at heart, and someone who has always believed the spaces we live in should feel both beautiful and deeply personal. My dad is an architectural contractor, so I grew up walking construction sites, watching homes come together from the ground up, and developing an appreciation for both the structure of a space and the feeling it creates once it’s lived in. That early exposure shaped the way I see design today. not just as something beautiful, but something intentional, functional, and deeply connected to the people inside it.
